Growing "U"
Discipleship through Learning & Relationship

GROWING "U" is just what it says, an opportunity for you to grow in your Christian faith and help others to grow as well. Three seasonal Tri-mesters, each lasting between 8-10 weeks, will offer a variety of topical classes at various homes scattered across our community on different nights of the week.

Three Tri-Mesters:
Fall 2008, The week of September 7 through the week of November 9. 10 weeks
Winter 2009, The week of January 4 through the week of March 1. 9 weeks
Spring 2009, The week of March 22 through the week of May 17. 9 weeks

We believe the short-term commitment required by a 10 week study will serve our people well - to participate, teach or host! Every 10 weeks, groups are disbanded and the "deck is reshuffled" to begin new groups! This gives you the opportunity to meet more people, take different classes or take a needed season "off" if your schedule doesn't permit. You can participate one semester, two or all three. If you're really hungry to grow you can take many classes in each semester!

Here are your opportunities to grow this Fall!

Sunday Night Alive!

That The World May Know – Faith Lessons on the Promised Land - DVD Bible Study. Sundays, 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. Each lesson begins by taking you on a 22 minute video tour of selected Holy Land sites. Afterwards, our discussion based Bible Study will focus on passages of Scripture that tie into those video clips. Filmed on location in Israel, FAITH LESSONS is an in-depth video tour of the buried, distant, or otherwise forgotten places where the stories of the Bible actually happened. From this cultural perspective, teacher and historian Ray Vander Laan challenges long-held Western assumptions about even the most well-known Scripture passages. The result? Those attending will simply never read the Bible the same again. Join Keith and Kim Bianchini in the school cafetorium beginning Sunday, September 7, 2008 at 6:00 PM. The class runs 10 weeks and will conclude Sunday, November 9, 2008. Handouts will be provided. Location: Cafetorium. CHILDCARE PROVIDED: Yes
